The Picture Above has been  identified as John "Pegleg" Roberts, son of Henry Roberts and Elizabeth "Betsy" Roberts.. John served as a Lieutenant in the Confederate Army and lost his leg at the Battle of Chancellorsville. He served two terms in the Virginia State Legislature and forty years as Commissioner of Revenue in Washington co. Va.. He died at age 94 in 1929...    G. Lee Hearl
